How to choose
- The big malls are a few minutes apart: Saigon Centre with Takashimaya (92–94 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia), Vincom Center at 72 Le Thanh Ton, and Diamond Plaza behind Notre-Dame Cathedral (34 Le Duan).
- They usually close around 10 pm, but sources give different hours, so check before you go on public holidays.
- Vincom Center has a WinMart supermarket, handy for water and groceries on the way.
- Tan Dinh market (314–336 Hai Ba Trung) opens at 6 am; individual stalls keep their own hours, and street food stalls set up around it in the evening.
