Frequently asked questions
Do I need an appointment?
Many consulates require one, booked on their official website. If the card does not say otherwise, check the procedure on the office's website.
When should I go?
Usually on weekday mornings; offices close at weekends and on Vietnamese and their own national holidays. Reception hours are in the card, with a source.
Why no WhatsApp or Zalo?
Offices usually have neither, and writing to staff members' personal numbers is not a good idea. We list official contacts only.
