The easiest place to find a massage in Da Nang is the east bank of the Han River: An Thuong near My Khe beach, and Duong Dinh Nghe street by the Song Han bridge. The centre (Hai Chau district) has fewer salons, but they are close to the riverfront and Tran Phu street. Most salons in the table open daily from about 9:00 until 22:00–23:00. Where to get a massage near the beach, and where in the centre?
Near My Khe beach, pick An Thuong (Dragon Spa, Bee Honey) or Nguyen Van Thoai street (Panda Spa): both are a short way from the sand. The Song Han bridge area is Duong Dinh Nghe street, home to Levenin and Herbal Spa. In the centre on the west bank you have Charm Spa Grand on Thai Phien and Golden Lotus on Tran Phu. Pick whichever is nearest your hotel.
Where can I get a massage late in the evening?
Levenin stays open longest: until about midnight. Panda Spa closes at 23:45, Dragon Spa and Bee Honey at 23:00. Do not arrive right before closing: after 22:30, call first and ask whether they will take you.
How can I tell a normal spa from a "massage with extras"?
In Vietnam massage is a conditional business: a salon needs a certificate of meeting security and public-order conditions (Giấy chứng nhận đủ điều kiện về an ninh, trật tự), issued by the police (Decree 96/2016/NĐ-CP, as amended). Politely ask the front desk to show it; a normal salon will not mind.
Paper does not rule out a scam: in January 2026 Da Nang police shut down two outlets in hotels that sold paid "packages" on upper floors under a spa and massage sign (Tuoi Tre News, 11 Jan 2026). Before you start, ask how long the session is and what it includes, and do not follow a tout to a "VIP room" upstairs. A salon with a map address, a phone number and an open reception is the simple choice.
Can I get a massage if I am pregnant or ill?
If you are pregnant, or have high blood pressure, varicose veins, a recent injury or surgery, ask a doctor first. Tell the therapist before you start. If you feel unwell afterwards, see hospitals in Da Nang for foreigners.
How do I book a massage?
Call the number on the card or message it: the cards do not list Zalo or WhatsApp, so try the same number. Recharged takes bookings through Fresha. Give the time, length and number of people. Check the hours again before you go: some listings differ (Charm Spa Grand, Levenin), and Noah Spa has no closing time at all.
When are salons less busy?
Evenings and weekends can bring a queue at popular salons, so message ahead for those slots. For salons that open at 9:00, the first half of the day is the easiest time to find a free therapist. Noah Spa opens at 10:00 on Google Maps, the latest in the table.
