Frequently asked questions
Which massage should I try first?
Almost every place offers a full-body massage and a foot massage, so start with one of those. Tell the therapist whether you want it firm or gentle — Vietnamese massage can be quite strong by default.
Can a therapist come to my hotel or apartment?
Yes, some places do home and hotel visits — it says so on their card. Arrange it in advance by message and ask whether they bring a table.
Do I need to book?
Places near the beach get busy in the evening and at weekends. If the card has a phone number or WhatsApp, message a couple of hours ahead.
Is massage safe for everyone?
A spa massage is for relaxing, not a medical treatment. If you are pregnant, recently injured or have blood pressure problems, tell the therapist before you start, and ask a doctor if you are unsure.
