- Late at night, go to a chain pharmacy: Pharmacity near Đầm Market and in Oceanus is open until 11:30 pm, Pharmacity on Tháp Bà (near Po Nagar) until 11 pm, Long Châu on Phạm Văn Đồng and Ngô Gia Tự until 10 pm.
- Early in the morning, Thanh Hoài in the centre and Phương Trang on Ngô Gia Tự open at 6:30, Khang An on Thống Nhất at 6:15.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a prescription to buy medicine in Vietnam?
For many products, no: most medicines are sold over the counter. Antibiotics, strong and psychotropic drugs officially need a prescription, though in practice the rules are applied unevenly. Do not buy or take antibiotics or strong drugs without a doctor's advice, and check the active ingredient on the box against what you know from home.
Do pharmacists speak English or Russian?
Most speak only Vietnamese; English is uncommon even in the chains. We state the language of service in a listing only where it is confirmed. The practical approach is to show the name of the medicine or the box, or use a translation app.
How late are pharmacies open?
Hours vary: chain pharmacies often open early and close late in the evening, small neighbourhood ones close sooner. The hours in a listing come from the shop sign or the map on the stated date and may change — if you need one at night, call ahead. We mark 24-hour pharmacies at hospitals when we find them.
Can medicine be delivered to my door?
Chains usually run delivery through a hotline or an app; smaller pharmacies by phone or messenger. Where delivery is stated on the sign or the website, the listing says so.
Why no prices or rankings?
We check what can be checked: the pharmacy exists and works at that address and those hours. Drug prices change, and "the best pharmacy" cannot be verified from public sources — an out-of-date figure or an invented ranking is worse than none.
