Why do some listings show a marina instead of an office address?

Because you board at the marina, not at the office. Where the map places the actual boarding point — Ana Marina, for instance — that is what the listing shows, with the company's registered address kept in the sources. Operators who work without a fixed boarding point have no address at all: they name the spot when you book, which is normal in charter rather than a warning sign.

Shared trip or private charter?

On a shared trip you are aboard with other guests, the route and timing are fixed, and you pay per person. On a private charter the boat is yours: route, departure time and stops are yours to agree, and you pay for the boat. From about six to eight people the two often cost much the same, so it is worth asking about both.

What should I settle before paying a deposit?

The name and capacity of the boat, what the price includes (lunch, snorkelling gear, water), how many people will be aboard, and above all what happens if the weather cancels. The sea here closes wholesale: under a storm warning nobody sails. A sensible operator reschedules or refunds — agree that before you pay, not after.

When is the sea calm?

February through September, usually. October to January brings rain and the north-east wind: cancellations are frequent, and the swell can turn a pleasure trip into something else entirely. Travelling then, keep a spare day.

What language is spoken on board?

Several Nha Trang operators work in English, and some keep a separate phone line for Russian-speaking guests. Listings note the language where a source confirms it. No note does not mean no English — it usually means nobody wrote it down, and one message settles it.

Why are there no prices in the listings?
