Taxi and ride apps in Nha Trang
Taxi and ride-hailing apps that work in Nha Trang: what each does, how to book a ride and where the information comes from. Tourists will hardly find taxi offices in Nha Trang — rides are ordered in an app or by a hotline — so these cards are for apps, not addresses. No prices and no "best" ranking: fares change, and a ranking cannot be verified from public sources. An app is listed when two independent sources confirm that it works in Nha Trang; what the sources do not say (language, paying with a foreign card) we do not invent.
In short
- In Nha Trang we list 8 businesses in this section: Be (ride-hailing app), Grab, Mai Linh Taxi Khánh Hòa and 5 more.
- Updated 12 October 2026.
How to choose
- Grab and Xanh SM show the fare before you book, so there is no haggling with the driver.
- Need a bike rather than a car? GrabBike or beBike get through traffic faster.
- Xanh SM runs VinFast electric cars; without mobile data you can still book through their hotline.
- Maxim has an interface in English, Russian and Vietnamese and also does courier delivery.

The go-to way to get a car or motorbike ride: GrabCar, GrabCar 7 and GrabBike work across Nha Trang and at Cam Ranh airport, you can book a car in advance, and you see the fare before you order. At the airport, pickup is at the international terminal exit or at gates A and B of the domestic terminal. There's no office in town — everything goes through the app.

A regular metered taxi: Mai Linh's green 4-, 7- and 16-seat cars, including runs from Cam Ranh airport. Call the local number 0258 38 38 38 38, the nationwide number 1055, or book in the Taxi Mai Linh app; you can also flag one down in the street. For the airport some drivers quote a fixed fare and others use the meter, so agree on it before you set off. Handy when Grab or Xanh SM take a long time to find a car.

We use Maxim to get around town ourselves. The company has an office at 5 Phạm Văn Đồng (Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00) for questions; rides are booked in the app.

Frequently asked questions
How do I book a taxi in Nha Trang without a Vietnamese SIM?
You need internet: an eSIM, a tourist SIM or Wi-Fi. Apps ask for a phone number to send a code — a foreign number does not work for everyone, so check when you install. Without internet there is the service hotline (for example Xanh SM — 1900 2088) or flagging a car down on the street.
How do I get a ride from Cam Ranh airport?
The cards give only what the sources confirm. Whether the apps work at the Cam Ranh terminal and where the pickup point is, check in the app when you order: airport rules change, so we do not publish them without a primary source.
Can I pay in cash?
For Grab, a travel guide says you can pay in cash or by card. For the other apps the sources do not name a payment method — look in the app before you ride.
Why does the app not show Nha Trang before I arrive?
TripAdvisor forum posters wrote that outside the city the app may not show Nha Trang and it appears once you are there. If the app cannot find a car, check your location and the city.
Why no prices or "best" here?
A fare depends on the time, demand and type of car and changes, and a "best app" cannot be verified from public sources. We show where an app works and how we know it.
