Vets in Nha Trang: where to take your cat or dog, and who's open at night

Nha Trang vet clinics with addresses and hours: 24-hour emergency help, home visits, where to board your pet while you travel, and a few Vietnamese words for the vet.

For an emergency at night in Nha Trang, call Home Vet: they offer round-the-clock help and home visits. Most other clinics are open every day until about 7–8 pm. Nika, in the Mường Thanh Viễn Triều complex in the north of town, has a Russian-speaking vet and sees patients Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.

What do I do at night?

Call rather than drive around. Home Vet offers 24-hour help and comes to your home; it has two addresses online, so don't go without calling. Kokan Pet also mentions 24/7 help, but its regular hours end at 8 pm. Save both numbers now, while all is calm.

How do I talk to the vet?

Most clinics work in Vietnamese, so prepare a couple of sentences in a translator app and show them on screen. Useful words: "phòng khám thú y" — vet clinic, "cấp cứu" — emergency, "tiêm phòng" — vaccination, "triệt sản" — neutering, "chó" — dog, "mèo" — cat. Bring the pet passport: the vet will read vaccination dates without translation.

Where can I leave my pet while I travel?

Thanhxuanpet at 142 Ngô Gia Tự and PetLike at 201 Điện Biên Phủ have pet hotels, along with grooming and a pet shop. Book ahead, especially before Tết and public holidays. Ask which vaccinations they require and who looks after the animals at night.

Anything else in the heat?

Don't leave a dog in a car or on a sunny balcony, walk early in the morning and after sunset, and keep water within reach. If you're renting, get pets written into the contract — see renting a flat long term.

If a street dog or cat bites or scratches you, that's a job for a doctor, not a vet: see what to do if you get sick in Nha Trang.

Sources and checks

Addresses, hours and phone numbers come from our vet clinics section, checked against Google Maps and independent listings on 30 September and 6 October 2026; Nika's hours are from the sign on its door. Where a clinic has two addresses online (Home Vet, Pet Friends), the table says so. The Vietnamese words and the tips on heat and travel are our own. Updated 12 October 2026.
