A taxi or Grab is the easiest way to Ba Na Hills: 45–60 minutes from a central hotel to the cable car station, about twice that on public holidays, and 40–50 minutes from the airport. Grab, Green SM (formerly Xanh SM), Be and metered taxis — Mai Linh, Vinasun, Tiên Sa — all go there. The tricky part is getting back: after 5 pm there are few cars at the station, so many people ask the driver to wait. How to avoid overpaying — see taxis in Da Nang.
Is there a free bus to Ba Na Hills?
Yes, as a trial: from 8 August to 31 December 2026 Sun World runs a free bus from Da Nang. It leaves Novotel Đà Nẵng at 8:30 and 9:30 and stops at Biển Đông Park, opposite My Khe beach (next to DLG Hotel), opposite Vegas Club and at 99 Võ Nguyên Giáp. The ride takes 75–80 minutes; the bus back leaves at 16:00. No booking needed — just be at a stop before departure. It doesn't pick up along the road, so wait at one of the listed stops. Trial schedules change: call Sun World (1800 1000) the day before.
How do I get to Ba Na Hills by bus 03 from the airport?

When it opened in January 2024 it ran every 15–30 minutes from 5:30 to 19:00, and Sun World still points visitors to bus 03 in 2026. Tour or on your own?
Getting to Ba Na Hills on your own is easy: a taxi or the free shuttle, and the ticket from the desk or sunworld.vn.
